AI Coding Assistants
Google's agent-first coding app, CLI, IDE and SDK, free with weekly limits and expanded on Google AI Pro and Ultra.
Ways to pay
Overview
Google Antigravity is Google's agent-first coding product. Its agents plan, write and check code across a repository from a desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux, a command-line tool, a standalone IDE, extensions for editors such as VS Code and JetBrains, and a Python SDK for building custom agents. Gemini models do most of the work, and paid Google AI plans add partner models such as Claude.
It suits developers who already pay for a Google AI plan and want coding agents without a second subscription, and people who want to try agentic coding at no cost. The core caveat is that Google publishes no request or task counts: the quota tracks how much work the agent does, refreshes weekly without Pro or Ultra and every five hours on them, and every tier also has a weekly limit that can lock you out until it resets.
Antigravity has no subscription of its own. Individuals use it free or through the Google AI plan they hold, and Google AI Plus adds nothing over the free tier. Pro and Ultra can top up with Google AI credits, teams buy access through Gemini Enterprise on Google Cloud, and developers can pay by consumption through the API.
Pricing
Ways to pay
Pricing may differ across app subscriptions, API usage, team workspaces, and enterprise contracts. See the pricing guide for current plan and meter details.
App subscription
PrimaryFrom $19.99/mo
Antigravity's quota follows your Google AI plan. Google AI Pro ($19.99 a month) refreshes a high quota every five hours until a higher weekly limit; Google AI Ultra ($99.99 for 5x, $199.99 for 20x) has the highest quota, refreshed every five hours, the highest weekly limits and third-party models. Google AI Plus gets the same tier as no plan.
App subscription
From $0/mo
Without Google AI Pro or Ultra, Antigravity is $0 with a quota refreshed weekly under a weekly rate limit, unlimited Tab completions and Gemini 3.8 Flash; Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b stay on this tier until Google removes them on November 2, 2026.
App subscription
Bundled access
Google AI Pro and Ultra members can buy AI credits in packs such as 2,500, 5,000 or 20,000 for use beyond the quota; one balance covers Antigravity and Google Flow, and the AI Credit Overages setting (Never or Always) decides whether Antigravity spends it. Not sold on Google AI Plus, in Japan, or with Apple, Pixel Pass or third-party billing.
Team workspace
From $30/seat/mo
Teams get Antigravity through Google Cloud: eligible Gemini Enterprise customers choose Standard or Plus plans from $30 per seat per month, or a pay-as-you-go plan with no seat fee and consumption-based pricing, under Google Cloud terms with spend caps and admin controls.
Direct API
Usage-based API
API access is billed by consumption under Google Cloud terms; the Antigravity pricing page lists no per-request rate.

FAQ
Yes. Without Google AI Pro or Ultra you get a quota refreshed weekly under a weekly rate limit, unlimited Tab completions and Gemini 3.8 Flash. Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b stay on the free tier until Google removes them from Antigravity on November 2, 2026.
No. Google's Antigravity model table puts Plus in the same column as no plan, Google One labels Plus agent requests Limited, and AI credits are not sold on Plus. Plus doubles Gemini app limits, but Antigravity starts improving at Google AI Pro.
Paid Google AI Pro (not trials), Google AI Ultra and eligible Gemini Enterprise plans. Argon runs in the Antigravity app, CLI and IDE extensions, but not in the standalone Antigravity IDE.
On Pro and Ultra, the AI Credit Overages setting decides. Never waits until the quota refreshes; Always spends purchased Google AI credits and switches back once the quota refreshes. Without Pro or Ultra you wait for the weekly refresh.
