Antigravity Pricing and Limits by Plan: Free, Pro, Ultra

Google publishes no Antigravity request counts. Free and Google AI Plus get a quota refreshed weekly, Pro ($19.99) and Ultra refresh it every five hours up to a weekly limit, and only Pro and Ultra can buy AI credits.

In short

Google publishes no request, prompt or task counts for Google Antigravity. Each plan gets a quota that refreshes on a set schedule, with a weekly rate limit on top: without Google AI Pro or Ultra the quota refreshes once a week, Pro ($19.99 a month) refreshes it every five hours until a higher weekly limit, and Ultra ($99.99 for 5x, $199.99 for 20x) gets the highest quota and the highest weekly limits. Google AI Plus counts as no plan, and only Pro and Ultra can buy more usage with AI credits.

Read the table by its refresh column first: the gap between a weekly refresh and a five-hour one matters more than any label. Google One's plan table is the only place Google ranks the four paid tiers for Antigravity, using the words in the last column and no numbers, and it ranks Ultra 20x above Ultra 5x even though Antigravity's own docs describe both Ultra plans the same way. Prices are Google One's United States monthly prices; Google Antigravity lists every route it is sold through.

How the five-hour quota and the weekly limit combine

On Pro and Ultra, two limits run at once. The quota refills every five hours, so a long session that empties it waits a few hours rather than days. The weekly rate limit sits above it: once the week's total reaches it, the five-hour refills stop helping until the weekly limit resets. Ultra has a weekly limit too; Google calls it the highest, not unlimited. Without Pro or Ultra there is no five-hour refill, so emptying the weekly quota early in the week leaves you waiting for the next weekly refresh.

The quota measures work, not messages. Google says the limits correlate with how much work the agent does, so a quick fix uses little, a multi-step refactor across many files uses far more, and the number of prompts you get varies with the task. Google also says the limits depend mainly on available capacity and may change. The Settings page shows how much of the quota each model has used.

Models by plan, and the three leaving on November 2

Gemini 3.8 Flash is the default agent model on every plan. Gemini 4 Argon, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Opus 5.5 need paid Google AI Pro or Ultra, or an eligible Gemini Enterprise plan. A Google AI Pro trial does not unlock them: Google asks trial users to cancel the trial and switch to paid Pro. Argon runs in the Antigravity app, the CLI and the IDE extensions, but not in the standalone Antigravity IDE.

Google will remove three models from Antigravity on November 2, 2026: Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b. They are the only non-Gemini models on the free tier and on Google AI Plus, so from that date those users have Gemini 3.8 Flash alone. Ultra already lacks Claude Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.6 and keeps GPT-OSS-120b until November 2. Gemini Enterprise adds Gemini 3.7 Flash, Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Pro, which no individual plan gets, and image generation inside agent tasks uses Nano Banana 2 on every plan.

At the limit: AI credits and the overage setting

On Pro and Ultra, usage beyond the quota can come from Google AI credits. You buy them on Google One in amounts such as 2,500, 5,000 or 20,000 credits and can set auto-reload to top up when the balance runs low. Google's help page shows no pack prices, and Antigravity consumes credits at Gemini Enterprise consumption rates that its docs do not break down per task. Credits may expire after a period set when you buy them.

One balance covers Google Flow and Antigravity: the AI credits activity page lists both, so video generations in Google Flow and agent overage in Antigravity draw on the same credits. A family plan manager can share the balance with the family group, but only the manager can buy more.

Antigravity spends credits only when the AI Credit Overages setting allows it:

  • Never: the agent stops using that model when its quota runs out and waits for the refresh.
  • Always: it switches to credits when the quota runs out and goes back to the quota once it refreshes.

AI credits are not sold on Google AI Plus, in Japan, or to members billed through Apple, Pixel Pass or a third party. Without Pro or Ultra, the only ways past the limit are waiting for the weekly refresh or upgrading.

Why Google AI Plus adds nothing in Antigravity

Google AI Plus ($4.99) doubles Gemini app limits compared with no plan, so it is natural to expect more in Antigravity too. It does not: Antigravity's model table puts Plus in the same column as the free tier, its plans page gives the five-hour refresh only to Pro and Ultra, and AI credits are not sold on Plus. Google One labels Plus agent requests Limited, the lowest of its four labels. For Antigravity, the first plan that changes anything is Google AI Pro; Gemini limits by plan covers what Plus does add in the Gemini app.

Teams and developers: Gemini Enterprise and the API

Antigravity's plans page offers no bring-your-own-key option for extra rate limits and no organizational tier on a custom contract, so teams use it through Google Cloud instead. Eligible Gemini Enterprise customers can choose Standard or Plus plans from $30 per seat per month, or a pay-as-you-go plan with no seat fee and consumption-based pricing; both run under Google Cloud terms, with spend caps across API and subscription use and central admin controls. Developers can also reach Antigravity through the API with consumption-based pricing. These are Cloud bills, separate from any Google AI plan an individual holds, much as Claude Code subscription and API billing are separate.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Google Antigravity free?

Yes. Without Google AI Pro or Ultra, Antigravity costs nothing and gives a quota that refreshes weekly under a weekly rate limit, unlimited Tab completions and Gemini 3.8 Flash. Until November 2, 2026 the free tier also includes Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b; after that date it has Gemini 3.8 Flash only.

Does Google AI Ultra have a weekly limit in Antigravity?

Yes. Ultra gets the highest quota, refreshed every five hours, and the highest weekly rate limits, but Google still applies a weekly limit. Google publishes no number for it.

Can I buy more Antigravity usage?

On Google AI Pro and Ultra, yes: buy Google AI credits on Google One in amounts such as 2,500, 5,000 or 20,000 and set AI Credit Overages to Always. The same balance pays for Google Flow. Google AI Plus members, users in Japan and members billed through Apple, Pixel Pass or a third party cannot buy them.

Why am I locked out of Antigravity for a week?

Without Google AI Pro or Ultra the quota refreshes only once a week, so emptying it means waiting for the next refresh. On Pro and Ultra the five-hour refills stop once you reach the weekly rate limit, which resets weekly. Upgrading to Pro or Ultra, or turning on AI credit overages on those plans, gets you past the wait.
