Watchouts
The limits and purchase traps worth checking before you optimize for the lowest headline number.
A published app's database, storage and traffic draw on the workspace's credits once the monthly Cloud grant (currently 20 credits, marked temporary) runs out, so a popular app can use up building credits.
Up to 5,000 credits a month, a Business credit costs twice a Pro credit, so building costs about twice as much in dollars; hosting and app AI cost the same on both. Buy Business for its controls, not for more credits.
Lovable says its current chat pricing, including the daily chat allowance, applies through October 31, 2026; building and hosting follow standard pricing.
Top-ups cost $0.30 a credit on Pro and $0.60 on Business, more than any monthly tier, though they last 12 months.

PrimaryFrom $20.83/mo
Pro and Business are priced by monthly credits, from 100 credits for $25 (Pro) or $50 (Business) a month to 10,000 credits, with two months free on annual billing. Every member of a workspace shares its credits; there is no per-seat price.

Best for: An occasional month that needs more credits than the plan
Boundary: Top-up credits last 12 months and cost the same on monthly and annual billing.

Best for: Large organizations with procurement and compliance needs

Notes
Plan caveats, contract terms, and feature-access limits that can change what you actually pay.
Lovable's price is set by credits, not seats: one workspace buys a monthly pool that everyone in it shares, so the real decision is the credit tier, not the number of users. Business costs twice Pro at every tier up to 5,000 credits for the same number of credits; what the extra buys is SSO, role-based access, a team workspace, workspace publishing and the Lovable API. And annual billing changes more than the price: unused credits stay valid until one month after the annual period ends instead of two months after they arrive.
Credits a month | Pro | Business | Business premium |
|---|---|---|---|
100 | $25 | $50 | 2× |
1,200 | $294 | $588 | 2× |
5,000 | $1,125 | $2,250 | 2× |
10,000 | $2,250 | $4,300 | 1.9× |
ToolColumn arithmetic from Lovable's pricing page on October 20, 2026. Lovable says hosting and AI features in published apps cost the same in dollars on both plans, so Business shows fewer credits used for them. It says nothing similar for building, so on ToolColumn's reading a build request costs about twice as much in dollars on Business. A team that needs no SSO or role controls can share one Pro workspace and keep the difference.
Pro's tiers run from $0.25 to $0.225 a credit, and a top-up costs $0.30. As an illustration, a builder who needs about 600 credits a month can take the 800-credit tier for $200, or the 400-credit tier for $100 plus four top-ups of 50 credits for $60, a total of $160. Pro has no tier between 400 and 800, so the mixed route stays cheaper up to about 700 credits a month ($190); from 750 credits ($205) the 800 tier costs less. Top-ups also last 12 months; unused credits from the larger tier roll over for two months, which narrows the gap when use varies.
Lovable charges a Build mode request for the work it does. Its own examples put making a button gray at 0.50 credits, adding sign-up and login at 1.20 and a landing page with images at 1.70, while a Plan mode message costs 1 credit, and a long request pauses for confirmation every 20 credits by default. On Pro, the 5 free build credits a day have no monthly cap, so about 150 a month (ToolColumn arithmetic) come on top of the plan's 100 before the paid balance is touched.
Because annual credits outlast the month they arrive in, a quiet month's balance is still there for a busy one later. For uneven use that is worth more than the two free months; for a first project it commits a year of spending, which is why monthly Pro is the safer start.

FAQ
Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits and Business at $50, or $250 and $500 a year (about $20.83 and $41.67 a month) billed annually. Both scale in credit tiers up to 10,000 credits, at $2,250 a month on Pro and $4,300 on Business. Free costs nothing and gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month.
Yes. Annual billing gives two months free, so Pro 100 costs $250 a year instead of $300. Credits still arrive monthly, but on annual billing they stay valid until one month after the year ends.
No. Every plan allows unlimited workspace members, and the price depends only on the credits the workspace buys. More members use the shared credits faster but do not raise the bill.
A top-up costs $0.30 a credit on Pro, more than any tier's $0.225 to $0.25, but it lasts 12 months. Buy top-ups for an occasional heavy month and a bigger tier when the extra use repeats.
