Suno Pricing and Credits by Plan: Free, Pro and Premier
Suno Free gives 50 credits a day and no downloads; Pro ($10, or $8 billed yearly) gives 2,500 credits and 20 downloads a month; Premier ($30, or $24) gives 10,000 credits and 60 downloads. Downloads run out long before credits.

In short
Suno Free costs nothing and gives 50 credits a day on the v6-mini model, with no monthly downloads and no commercial rights. Pro costs $10 a month, or $8 a month billed yearly, for 2,500 credits and 20 song downloads a month. Premier costs $30, or $24 billed yearly, for 10,000 credits, 60 downloads and Suno Studio. One generation makes two songs for 10 credits, so on both paid plans the download allowance runs out long before the credits do.

*ToolColumn's calculation at Suno's standard rate of 10 credits for each two-song generation. Prompts with many images or videos, and Max Mode, cost more, so treat the song counts as a ceiling. Read across each paid row: the fourth and fifth columns are the gap this page is about.
Downloads, not credits, decide how many songs you keep
Since September 3, 2026, Suno limits downloads by plan, and the limit covers songs you made before that date too. Every song stays playable and shareable on Suno, so the cap bites only when you need the file: for a video edit, a podcast, a game or a release. A Pro subscriber who generates 100 songs in a month can take 20 of them away; a Premier subscriber can take 60.
Both paid plans charge the same for an included download: $10 for 20 and $30 for 60 work out to $0.50 each on monthly billing, and $0.40 each billed yearly. Premier is therefore not a cheaper way to download, it is a bigger allowance plus Suno Studio. The exception is Studio itself: Premier subscribers who download through Suno Studio, Premier's production editor, have no download limit. Suno sells extra downloads beyond the allowance to Pro and Premier subscribers, and its pricing page lists no price for them, so check the cost in the app before planning on them.
What 50 free credits a day buy, and what they don't
Free credits refresh daily and do not carry over, so a quiet day is lost, not banked. At 10 credits a generation, 50 credits make five generations, or about ten songs, all on v6-mini; v6 and v6-wild need a paid plan. Free songs carry no commercial rights.
Downloads on Free depend on when you joined. Users who signed up before September 3, 2026 have up to 7 trial downloads for life, for personal use. Users who joined later get none by default and "may occasionally receive" trial downloads, in Suno's words. Suno's downloads post says free users can buy downloads, while its pricing page lists no add-on purchases for Free; the pricing page is about credits, the post about downloads, so the two are separate purchases.
When a paid plan runs out of credits
Subscription credits reset each month and never roll over. When they run out you can buy more credits; purchased credits do not expire but only work while you hold a subscription, and Suno adds 50 bonus credits a day until your plan renews. Upgrading takes effect immediately, while a downgrade waits for the end of the billing cycle.
Pro or Premier
Pick Pro if 20 songs a month is enough to keep. Move to Premier when you need more than 20 downloads, four times the credits for long sessions or Max Mode, or Suno Studio, which adds MIDI, effects, automation and design-your-own plugins. Premier also separates three stem types against Pro's two and can add new vocals or instrumentals to an existing song. Both paid plans upload up to 30 minutes of audio, queue up to 10 songs at once and include commercial use rights.

FAQ
Common questions
Is Suno free?
Yes. Suno Free costs nothing and gives 50 credits a day, enough for about ten songs on v6-mini. It includes no monthly downloads and no commercial rights. Free users who joined before September 3, 2026 keep up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for personal use; later sign-ups may occasionally get trial downloads.
How many songs can I download on Suno Pro?
20 a month. Pro's 2,500 credits make about 500 songs at 10 credits per two-song generation, so most Pro users reach the download limit first. Suno sells extra downloads to Pro and Premier subscribers but does not list their price on the pricing page.
Do Suno credits roll over?
No. Credits included in a subscription do not carry over from day to day or month to month. Credits you buy separately do not expire, but you need an active subscription to use them. Subscribers who run out also get 50 bonus credits a day until the plan renews.
Can I use Suno songs commercially?
Only songs you download on Pro or Premier. Suno grants commercial use rights for songs downloaded as a paying subscriber; trial downloads on the Free plan are for personal use only.
