Higgsfield Credits Explained: What a Video Costs on Each Model
What one Higgsfield credit buys on Seedance, Kling, Sora and Veo, how many clips each plan's credits make, when credits expire, and when generations cost no credits.
UpdatedOctober 20, 2026
In short
A Higgsfield credit has no fixed value in video: every model, length and resolution has its own rate. On Higgsfield's rate table, a 5-second clip costs about 7 credits on Kling 3.0 at 720p, 22 on Seedance 2.0 at 720p and 60 on Seedance 2.0 at 1080p, and a Nano Banana Pro image costs 2. Starter gives 270 credits a month, Plus 1,200 and Ultra 3,000, 6,000 or 9,000; Free gives none. Credits do not roll over. They expire when the plan refills: on the purchase date for monthly plans, and every 30 days for annual ones.

A 5-second clip costs 1 to 110 credits
Higgsfield's pricing page lists approximate credits per clip for each model. These are its figures for 5-second clips:
Model | 720p | 1080p | 4K |
|---|---|---|---|
Seedance 2.0 | ~22 | ~60 | ~110 |
Seedance 2.0 Fast | ~12 | not listed | not listed |
Seedance Pro | ~8 | ~18 | not listed |
Seedance 1.5 | ~3 | ~7 | not listed |
Kling 3.0 | ~7 | ~8 | ~30 |
Wan 3.0 | 8.75 | 17.5 | not listed |
Resolution matters more than the model name. Kling 3.0 barely changes between 720p and 1080p, while Seedance 2.0 nearly triples, and a 4K Seedance 2.0 clip costs as much as about sixteen 720p Kling 3.0 clips. The cheapest listed clip is Seedance 1.5 at 480p, about 1 credit. Other models are priced per 4 seconds: about 10 credits for Sora 2 at 720p, about 16 for Veo 3.1 Fast at 1080p and about 40 for Veo 3.1 at 1080p.
Seedance 2.5 has no row in the rate table. Higgsfield's plan cards promise about 80 Seedance 2.5 videos on Plus and about 200 on Ultra's 3,000 credits, which works out to about 15 credits a video; the cards do not give the clip length or resolution. ByteDance's own routes price Seedance per second on its API or in Dreamina credits (Seedance pricing).
Images are cheap by comparison: Nano Banana Pro costs 2 credits an image (4 at 4K) and Higgsfield's own Soul 2.0 costs 0.12.
Plus covers 20 Seedance 2.0 clips at 1080p
The table divides each plan's monthly credits by the rates above. It is ToolColumn arithmetic that assumes every generation is kept, so treat it as a ceiling; retakes reduce it. The deciding column is the last one: at 1080p, Seedance 2.0 turns Plus into 20 clips a month and Ultra's 3,000 credits into 50.
Plan (credits a month) | Kling 3.0, 720p | Seedance 2.0, 720p | Seedance 2.0, 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
Plus (1,200) | 171 | 54 | 20 |
Ultra (3,000) | 428 | 136 | 50 |
Ultra (9,000) | 1,285 | 409 | 150 |
The Kling column may run high: Higgsfield's plan calculator puts an 8-second 720p Kling 3.0 generation at about 14 credits, closer to 9 per 5 seconds than 7.
Starter is left out because its 270 credits run Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini and selected models only, and Higgsfield does not list which others. At about 12 credits per 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 Fast clip that is 22 clips, while Higgsfield's Starter card estimates about 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos, so the card likely assumes longer or higher-resolution clips. Plan prices and the cost of a credit on each plan are on Higgsfield pricing.
Credits expire at every refill
Higgsfield subscription credits do not roll over. Monthly plans refill on the purchase date each month. Annual plans refill every 30 days from the start date, so an annual plan gets about twelve separate balances a year, and each one expires at the next refill. Plans renew automatically; after a cancellation the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
When a balance runs out early, there are two ways to keep going: upgrade to a larger plan, or buy a credit pack. Packs are added at once and can be spent on any model. Higgsfield's pricing page does not list pack prices, so the cost of a top-up is visible only in the account.
Generations that cost no credits
Two kinds of generation skip the credit balance. Unlimited models, offered as promotions on annual Plus and Ultra plans (recently 7 days of Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2, with Nano Banana Pro added on Ultra), cost nothing at the listed resolutions. Speed slows under load, and Credit Mode skips the queue by spending credits. Free generations come per plan on Higgsfield's own tools: Starter includes 10 on AI Influencer and 10 on Ads Studio; Plus and Ultra include 30 on AI Influencer, 10 on Ads Studio and 3 on Genjutsu at 720p.
Higgsfield limits unlimited use to personal, human use. Both unlimited and free generations work only on higgsfield.ai; Higgsfield excludes MCP, the CLI, Canvas and Supercomputer.

FAQ
Common questions
Do Higgsfield credits roll over?
No. Subscription credits expire at the end of each credit cycle: on the purchase date each month for monthly plans, and every 30 days for annual plans. A larger balance from a bigger plan or a credit pack is the only way to have more to spend.
How many credits does a Kling 3.0 video cost on Higgsfield?
About 7 credits for 5 seconds at 720p, 8 at 1080p and 30 at 4K, according to Higgsfield's rate table. Its plan calculator separately puts an 8-second 720p Kling 3.0 generation at about 14 credits, so check the cost shown before you generate.
Can I use Seedance 2.5 on the Starter plan?
No. Starter includes Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini and selected models only. Seedance 2.5 and the other Seedance models need Plus or above.
Do unlimited generations use Higgsfield credits?
No, on the models and resolutions a plan lists as unlimited, while the offer lasts and only on higgsfield.ai. Speed can slow under load; switching a generation to Credit Mode skips the queue and spends credits.
How do I get more Higgsfield credits mid-month?
Upgrade to a larger plan or buy a credit pack. Packs are added at once and work across models; the pricing page does not list their prices, so check them in your account.
