In short
Billed annually, Grammarly Pro and Superhuman Pro cost the same, $12 per member a month or $144 a year, and Superhuman Pro includes Grammarly Pro access plus Superhuman Docs and the Superhuman Go assistant. So on a yearly plan the suite is the better buy unless you have a reason to keep Grammarly on its own bill. Billed monthly the prices split: Grammarly Pro costs $30, while Superhuman Pro costs $15 without Grammarly Pro and $30 with the $15 add-on. Without a yearly commitment, Grammarly's quarterly plan, $60 every three months or $20 a month, is the cheapest route to Grammarly Pro; Superhuman lists no quarterly option.

The same $144 a year; monthly billing is where they differ
Billing | Grammarly Pro | Superhuman Pro |
|---|---|---|
Annual | $144 a year ($12 a month) | $144 a year ($12 a month), Grammarly Pro included |
Quarterly | $60 every 3 months ($20 a month) | Not listed |
Monthly | $30 a month | $15 a month, or $30 with the Grammarly Pro add-on |
Prices are per member and in US dollars. Read across the monthly row: the $15 Superhuman Pro price is real, but it leaves out Grammarly Pro, so the like-for-like monthly comparison is $30 against $30.
What Superhuman Pro adds on top of Grammarly Pro
Grammarly Pro gives each member 2,000 AI prompts a month, full-sentence rewrites, tone adjustments, plagiarism and AI-text detection, and style guides and brand tones for teams of up to 149 seats. Superhuman Pro wraps that in a suite: Superhuman Docs, the collaborative document workspace that Coda is becoming, with custom domains, unlimited doc size and 30-day version history, and Superhuman Go, which Superhuman describes as a team of AI collaborators that work wherever you're working. Superhuman's plan card also lists unlimited paragraph rewrites and translations in 15+ languages.
The monthly plan is where the two pages disagree. Superhuman's Pro card lists spotting AI-generated text and fixing accidental plagiarism, while Grammarly's suite article says that on monthly billing the plagiarism checker and AI detector come with the Grammarly Pro add-on. If those checks are why you are buying, take the add-on or the annual plan, and confirm what the checkout includes.
When standalone Grammarly Pro still makes sense
- You already pay for Grammarly Pro. Grammarly says existing subscriptions keep their price and cannot be merged into the suite, so in practice moving means starting a new Superhuman subscription next to the old one.
- You want to pay quarterly. $60 every three months is the only way to Grammarly Pro below $30 a month without committing to a year.
- You need Superhuman Mail. Neither Pro plan includes it; Superhuman Business does, at $33 per member a month billed annually or $40 monthly.
- You only need corrections. Grammarly Free and Superhuman Free both check writing for mistakes at no cost; Grammarly Free includes 100 AI prompts a month.
